We are not a bilingual country We are America and the language is English. Her and I vow to never shop at Hobby Lobby again. I as an American can not get hired if I am not bilingual but yet you are hiring and promoting people who dont speak English? My girlfriend returned her purchases. Another employee even chimed in so what if she doesnt speak English, she is new. ![]() ![]() A third employee had to come over and explain what we wanted done. she put the items aside and i had to keep repeating that I wanted to repurchase them The manager came over and she could not understand us either. I made my purchases and then the problem really started! She didnt understand I wanted to return my purchase and re buy it at 40% off. This store is on American soil and I an American have lived here all my life. She is new and so what if she doesnt speak it. The cashier could not speak English at well nor could the manager!! They had the nerve to ask me why it bothered me that she didnt speak English. I had made a Happy Planner purchase last week and this week they were on sale for 40% off and I also wanted to purchase one for my daughter as a gift. “On Novemmy friend and I went to Hobby Lobby located at 13899 SW 88 Street in Miami, FL 33186 Store #559 The store was packed as expected at this time of year and the lines were long. We'll report her attitude to head office,too as well as other social media.\r\n\r\nAdditionaly, she was VERY KINDLY told us as below.\r\n\r\nWe don't have to do the job for you if you are not satisfied with our service! Our framers were not trained well that's why work is slow, our store was just opened two month ago and we don't have not enough associates, some of them didn't do the way I taught, you better to go to another store! Our order system was supposed to be like that.brah brah brah.\r\n\r\nWe ended up showing a party 3 hours delay without birthday gift." I hope this post will encourage someone who are victims like us. My husband and I both work at service industry over 20 years and she was the worst manager we ever met. I think Hobby Lobby assigned definitely wrong person as a manager. She didn't even care that she made a big moment with her voice at store. She was kept telling us she didn't know about this. She's never said any polite words like \" I wish I could do.\" or \"Is there anything I can help you with?\", even \"Sorry\" word until I mentioned!\r\n\r\nHer voice was loud and high with power like hysterical teacher was talking and she blamed this case on her associates. ![]() The first word she said was \"Okay! unfortunately I don't know anything about that!\" then \"I don't know who took this order but I can't help you to finish our job before your party, you have to wait 2 or 3 hours more\" Maybe you can go to Micheal and they can probably do faster\". \r\n\r\nWe waited for 15 minutes until manager, Cassandra showed up. And he needs a lot of time to do this job and asked us to come back another day. ![]() We asked a framer where our coat was but framer told us that he didn't know this order. \r\n\r\nWhen we went to the store on our way to friend's party (it was 2 days after store pick up date) we saw only empty shadow box on the floor without chef coat inside, no covering, no touch up frame work but just our name on it. \r\n\r\nWe believed that it'd be worth to wait for 5 days.but everything turned out to be nightmare by extremely rude and arrogant store manager Cassandra. It was a surprise birthday gift for our friend. "We went to Howthorne store to buy shadow box for our special piece of cloth that had an original hand message by legendary person.
