After you have registered, you can schedule an appointment by following the instructions on your Practice Session scheduling permit. NOTE: This site is for Practice Session registration only. To register for a Practice Session, enter the Scheduling # and CIN (Candidate ID #) from your USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK or Step 3 scheduling permit and then click Enter: Scheduling # When you complete the session, you will receive a printed percent correct score for the multiple-choice items. Additional time is not available for the practice session. The practice session is a maximum of 4 hours and includes brief tutorial sections for both the multiple-choice question blocks and the Primum� Computer-based Case Simulation (CCS) blocks, three blocks of multiple-choice items totaling 96 questions, and four CCS cases. When you complete the session, you will receive a printed percent correct score. The Practice Session is a maximum of 3.5 hours and is divided into a brief tutorial section and three 1-hour blocks of approximately 40 multiple-choice test items each. Upon receipt of your Practice Session scheduling permit, you may contact Prometric to schedule an appointment and pay the Practice Session fee by credit card: Step 1 and 2 Testing Regions If you register for a Practice Session, a corresponding scheduling permit will be issued to you within seven business days.
